MOPGEL which came into being as the Movement for the Promotion of Gender Equality in Liberia 2000 in Liberia, is incorporated in the United States 2014 and has evolved in promotion and training over the years. It has programs to invest in self-advocates and community developments and currently deals with media and livelihood issues to promote gender.
MOPGEL is a tax-exempt non-profit organization (EIN 46-2939148) under section 501 c 3 of the United States Internal Revenue Code, empowering people and communities to raise awareness of gendered norms to drive positive change
